The Society of Heterodox Economists represents a gathering of economists outside the mainstream, whose main purpose is to organise an annual conference as well as occasion workshops. In addition, a working paper series and a virtual forum are maintained.

Winter School and Post Graduate Workshop

In conjunction with CofFEE, SHE inaugurated a Winter School in July 2007 for research students. It is hoped that this will become an annual event.
