- 6-7 July: 17th Australian Colloquium of Superannuation Researchers
- 13-14 July: Conference in Honour of UNSW Economics Professor Adrian Pagan. This two-day conference celebrates the work of Professor Adrian Pagan.
Professor Pagan’s work has had a significant impact on econometrics and applied time series research, and his contributions will be honoured at this conference by some of the many who have felt his influence.
- 15–21 July 2009: ARC EDN Winter School on Repeated Games and Reputations
- 19–20 Aug: Japan-UNSW Applied Microeconomics Workshop. This workshop is held as a part of UNSW’s efforts to develop and improve linkages with a range of universities and countries in the Asia Pacific Region.
- 3-4 Dec 2009: UNSW International Trade Workshop: This workshop will be held as a part of UNSW’s efforts to develop and improve linkages with a range of universities and countries in the Asia Pacific Region.
- 9-11 Dec: EMG Workshop 09: The Economic Measurement Group (EMG) is hosting its ninth annual international workshop, supported by the Australian Bureau of Statistics, Statistics Netherlands, the Productivity Commission and the Australian Research Council.
Attendance is free. Postgraduate students are encouraged to attend. For catering purposes, please advise by Friday the 27th of November if you are planning to attend.

Research, UNSW, is hosting its eighth annual international workshop,
