The Australian School of Business is internationally recognised for world-class research on issues of concern to today’s business and government leaders. 

There are two posgraduate research programs in Economics, Doctor of Philosophy and Master of Philosophy.

 

Doctor of Philosophy in Economics

The Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Economics is designed to equip students with advanced research training in economics. The School provides strong training in a broad number of economic, econometric and statistical areas of research, including:

Master of Philosophy in Economics

The MPhil degree is designed for students who wish to increase their knowledge in a particular discipline through research. It aims to deepen insight into underlying paradigms, advanced theory and research processes in a Commerce discipline; and develop competence in conducting research; and provide opportunities for the design of discipline-based research projects.
